Fantasy League Setup Help

Somehow I got put in charge of setting up a league last minute. I've played but never set one up before but I'm not completely clueless. We have 12 players and are going through ESPN (which I've never used). Are the default settings good (points, draft, schedule, etc.)? Or do you guys suggest something else? I set it up as a "league manager". Any help would be great. Thanks.

I feel ya - I just did this for the first time yesterday. From what I can tell, the scoring is pretty basic, with no points for bonuses (like 100+ yard games for rb/wr's). Also default only gives 4 pts for a qb touchdown. Those are the big things I noticed, b/c I like to do 6 for a qb, and I like bonuses for big games for all main positions (qb/rb/wr).
Probably one of the more important aspects if deciding how many of what positions you want. I believe that default sets 2 rbs, 2 wrs, and 1 wr/rb flex position. But another league I'm in (not commissioner) has it set up for 1 rb, 1 wr, and 2 rb/wr flex positions. I kind of like the extra flex position. I'd say that is one of your most important decisions, and will heavily affect everyone's drafting strategy.
I had never used espn either, but just mess around with the League Manager tools for a few minutes, and you'll probably find it's pretty easy to navigate.

Last year we didn't even have a flex position...2 RB and 2 WR. I didn't realize there were so many options for the scoring. Yeah, it's pretty simple to navigate. I was just looking for suggestions mainly of how other leagues were setup, especially with the scoring.
Does that mean its PPR? I haven't played in a PPR league in a few years.

nah, that's just 2 points for 2-point conversions. You can have those for both wrs and rbs.
Yeah I don't really like PPR either.
