Its a 2010 with 6000 miles.

What is a fair price?

I found one persons opinion online: MSRP - 20% - (#miles x $0.15)
The 20% is since the car is a year old and used.

Probably depends on the type of car and the condition.

It was 8-years ago, but I paid $22.5k for an SUV that had MSRP pushing $30k and it was a demo with 4k miles on it, was about 6-months old at the time. Still runs like a champ. Times were tough back then post 9/11 as it was April, 2002, but not as bad as now. I had a good idea what the invoice price was and went well below that. It took 5 hours at the dealership, then I made them take a trade in on my car, it was an excellent transaction and worth the time spent arguing with them. YMMV.
