Paul is supposed to be on campus this weekend and I suspect he'll be our next commit.

Is coming to LSU on unofficial this weekend. I don't expect him to commit too soon though.

Hope this doesn't hurt with OBJ if he does. I'd rather OBJ but don't get me wrong, Turner is a great athlete. I'd imagine hes going to shoot up rankings on Rivals too.

who does his body style/play style compare to? I know that no one has seen much of him at WR, where we are recruiting him. He's listed at 5'11" 190, so it's reasonable to think that he's around 5'9" 185 which would put him at the same size as Steve Smith Panthers and Wes Welker. Does he match up physically with those guys? (I know skills wise the answer is no, or optimistically, not yet).

He's taller than 5'9. I know because I'm 5'9 and he's taller than me. On the WM site the head guy said Paul told him he was going to take his time before committing.

jj27 i take it youve seen him play numerous times so since it looks like we want him at wr..is his elusiveness on the same level as obj and fobbs.since he's a shorter wr im guessing they'd share some qualities

^ This. Have always been very impressed with the way WMHS runs their sports programs.

I'm thinking they take both, and LSU clears some more scholarship space some way or another.

LSU definitely has several attrition candidates on the team right now. The only reason some are staying is because LSU has no need booting anyone else off the team since we can fill our entire class under the 85 man rule.

No point booting them. Give them another chance and one more season to improve.

We'll see. I don't really like booting players to begin with. however, I'm not sure that I'd like to say "Sorry, no room." to a top recruit from probably the best and deepest class in Louisiana history.
