With the studs we have in the secondary and speed on the ends, I can't wait to see this!!

A sellout crowd of about 260 at the Lod Cook Alumni Center heard Crowton talk about the progression of LSU’s offense, Wilson provide the layout of the program’s recruiting efforts and Cooper laud a defense that has transitioned to a faster, more aggressive unit bent on attacking from all angles.

It takes great athletes to be able to do this and not get picked apart by a smart QB. LSU has the athletes IMO.

Agreed.
It's hard to be an all world QB when you're running for your life!! I remember a time when the LSU defense made some pretty good QBs look bad with all the pressure. Damn, I miss those days!!

Not only running for their lives, but also spending way too much time trying to figure out who's coming and how many. The only thing the worries me about this approach is the susceptibility of getting caught with backs releasing out of the backfield and no one covering them. It can get ugly quick when that happens.

Hopefully it'll be like the 2003 defense.

I would like to see a defense that can attack from one angle: the defensive line. That would be a huge improvement.

I agree, if the defensive line can shut down the opposition's running game and maintain pressure on the quarterback, our secondary will be scorring a lot.

I just hope they don't spend 40 minutes of the game attacking.

the only angle that really matters is straight up the middle. it's the only angle that you can attack all game play after play. the d line is the driving force behind any football team's success in the SEC.
