Kind of an odd mix of schools. What's up with Cal?

I've been to that campus....there is absolutely nothing to like about it. Weird choice.....

It's a good school in California.

Hope he becomes an LSU Tiger though.

Not so good news from the Cal article(good job getting the scoop Folse) on Gathers. Gathers says he's probably going to transfer to Findlay Prep in Las Vegas this year or next. This would obviously move him closer to Cal and since Findlay is a bball factory the big boys will be watching a lot more and are more likely to come calling.

I hope you are right. I don't want too many more teams like last year.

I don't normally post here, but I figured I should get my two cents in. I was a senior at Riverside last year and all I'm gonna say is when he wasn't joking around like the rest of the RA basketball team, he was talking LSU, plus he's a complete momma's boy anyone who went to school with him would tell you that.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules, but I graduated from Riverside Academy as part of the class of 2009, and my best friend graduated from RA in 2010. We both played basketball and he stayed on the team during the summer the whole Reserve Christian movement happened. During that time he became pretty good friends with Rico.

Now take this for what it's worth, but he's told me that Rico told him that the top 5 players in the state in 2012 want to ply college ball together at LSU, since they've been playing AAU ball together for a while.

Time to bring back the good old days when Temple, Davis and Thomas once played together.
