He hasn't. I talked to an ex-player the other day, and he's talked with Ant. AR told him that he'd be back. I didn't believe him, so he showed me the text. I still find it hard to believe, but it is a possibility.

id cream myself if he came back.

it'd show the experience you get at LSU is worth more than millions and millions of dollars.

that's got to help recruiting right there.

He has about a .01% chance of coming back. After tearing it up in the Summer league, it would be shocking for the Red Sox to not offer him big money. You can probably find his stats from Summer ball pretty easy (he pitched 27 innings and gave up 0 earned runs).

Also read that Matty Ott is tearing it up out there. The rotation could be lethal if AR returns..!!!

Guys currently on our pitching rotation have told me as early as last week that he's 60-40 LSU.

He feels that they're seriously low balling him. As a college guy coming out, he needs an adequate contract and bonus because he will likely spend a few years in the minors and the money currently just isn't there.

Also, he's not exactly pumped about the organization as a whole.

Personally I believe that within the next week he's going to get a big offer from the Sox, and it'll be too good to pass up.

What other MLB team has won 2 World Series in the last 6 years?

Unfortunately this is a common theme almost yearly.....some unbelievable player that was taken high gets lowballed early, only to receive what they want at the 11th hour. I would love to see AR back, but I just can't get my hopes up until Aug 15. That being said, if we can somehow manage to get Z. Lee, Gausman, and Ranaudo to campus....we would definitely be a contender(though another thing I hate to do is pin my hopes on true freshman).

This might have something to do with him being a Yankees fan, just a guess though

I'd be shocked if he didn't sign

I would skeet my pants if he came back, but I just don't see that happening. Pretty interesting inside info though, hope it's true.
