Dak becomes the 5th commitment for the Bulldogs today. He got an offer from coach Mullen at the end of the camp and committed on the spot.

How does Prescott rank among other QB's in Louisiana this year?

Great athlete but I like Minden's Hunter Leppert better, but he's more of a pocket passer. Leppert doesn't camp well but head to head last year with lesser talent outshined Prescott. However, Prescott has been doing very well in the 7 on 7 this year.

1st or 2nd depending on where in the state you live.

I put him as the top LA QB right now, but that's not saying much

I think probably 2nd. Zack oliver from catholic I believe is a better prospect. Leppert is arguable but I think we had interest in prescott as a 2nd qb with possibility to move to another position but I think he fits in well in a spread

probably top two but that doesnt say a whole lot, its like being the tallest midget

I would say that hes probably got the most upside of any qb in LA.

I think that Dak is a good fit for Coach Mullen's offense coming from a HS that runs the spread. From watching his film he needs to work a little on his foot speed, but he looks like a touch kid and a competitor.

He's definitely a better fit than Oliver for Mullen's system.

yea prescott is a much better fit for mullens offense, he can run. oliver fits the northwestern spread of throwing it around 50 times. i am no expert, i just meant overall i felt oliver was a better pure passer than prescott, but dak is athletic and is better in that type of spread

Wow good day for state! I wouldn't be mad if Dak ended up part of our class with Ely.

Good for him. When the kid from Redemptorist leaves, people will be crying "Travis Minor and Warrick Dunn". If he is a good athlete and was on LSU's radar.... just leave it at that. QB's that are good athletes are like pitchers in baseball, they usually can play anywhere and be great.

Excited for Dak. Knew he would eventually get that SEC offer. Dak is a great athlete and QB, but what separates him is his leadership qualities and the kid is a winner.
