for fans...it's rooting for a team that sucks in hopes they will be good some day.

for players...it doesn't exist anymore.

for owners...it's not threatening to move your team if they have a game blacked out.

imo there are very few fans that are still loyal and support teams like the lions or the nets and should owners also be loyal to their players and coaches

MOST fans I encounter on here are loyal. You have your share of people who jump ship, but it's hard to do that on a message board and keep any sort of dignity. It's always in writing on here...or in avatars.
