I was there from July 3-10 and it was absolutely awesome. No tar balls, no jelly fish and crystal clear water.

was great on the weeekend of the 4th. my dad lives there and has been keeping me updated, hasnt said anything recently. you should be in the clear

I'm here on vacation right now, been here since the 9th and am leaving tomorrow morning. No tar, no oil, nothing. In fact, the water is a nice as it has been for the last 7 or 8 years that I've been coming down here during the summer with my family. Carry on your vacation as planned!
