Par 71 on a 7200 + course, pretty amazing. I would say "En Fuego".

he was just on Scott Van Pelt's radio show and I think he just became my favorite golfer. Sounded like a fun guy. Told SVP to ask Lebron what he thought of "Paul Goydos' 59"

Goydos is one of the real characters on the Tour. Ask him a question and he'll tell you what he thinks or believes, not some PC line of drivel that you would get from most of them.

Sad thing is I shoot a 59 everytime I play golf. But I usually have about 5 holes left.

I like Goydos. very unassuming guy, but honest during interviews. It broke my heart when he lost to POS Sergio in the players a couple of years ago.

I would love to experience the feeling of breaking 60 sometime in my life.

hell I would love to break 80 sometime in my life, who am I kidding.

Goydos is one of the best guys out there, he has been through a lot off the course and is one of the best quotes in the game.

We interrupt our LBJ programming to announce that Paul Goydos shot a 59 and has a one stroke lead heading to the 2nd round.

Steve Stricker shot a 11 under 60.

We now return you to the LBJ programming.

Absolutely. Did it with 22 putts!

Definitely one of my favorite golfers, behind Toms, Phil, Daly, Tiger, Dustin, Boo and Bubba...in that order.

Damn, now that I look at it, he's further down my list than I thought.

I still pull for him though.
