Not a huge loss IMO and it was expected but several people will flip out and say we can't get any qb's.

No, no -- I've been practising my breathing exercises and I'm perfectly calm (in with the good air; out with the bad). More than calm, I'm feeling rather contemplative: I mean, I'm truly trying to figure out what would make a young man pass up an opportunity to quarterback LSU (with our tradition, crazed fan support, best nighttime games in the world; best food, best women, etc) to go hangout in Appalachia for four years with a bunch of dentally-challenged hillbillys dressed in creamsicle orange. That IS a poser! Surely it couldn't be the incredible incoming offense line there to protect him -- he'd never be touched by a defense! It couldn't be the stud running backs he'd be handing-off to, or the amazing receivers he could be throwing to -- one couldn't ask to be surrounded by a better team! Maybe, could it be, that it's because Gary Crowton isn't worth a pre-used rubber?

I'm not "flipping out" that we can't get a quarterback to sign with us this year; I'm confused and deeply concerned that there is something incredibly wrong with the offensive system that we, the general public, are not as yet privy to. High school quarterbacks should be beating down the door to get a shot at playing for LSU, yet NO ONE seems to give a damn this year (other than the home-town kid who just committed to a Big Ten school in Chicago, of all god-forsaken places).

So tell me what's next. Do we start talking-up Dak Prescott now, trying to get ourselves psyched-up should that day come to pass? I really can't see that as being anything more than a lateral move from Zack Oliver, right? And we know how Zack got beat on! Now, I guess, for the sake of my temporary sanity, I put all my eggs in the Phillip Ely basket and pray . . . while I wait for the other shoe to drop. Unbefrickinglievable.

Confederate Tiger just made fun of hillbillies! Oh the irony.

Because Appalachia resembles his home a lot more than swamps.

Meh...life is too short.

Shitting your pants on live TV, going through 3 QBs in 2 years, 112, and this year's QB recruiting sort of speaks for itself.

No he was not a necessity, was not going to come in here & fight for a starting spot. I would rather wait till next year if it means a shot at a possible Top 10 QB. Neither Oliver or Worley were the answer, but this year, I hope they don't waste a scholly on a QB that has no chance of ever seeing the field except to take a knee.

ROFLMAO.

You obviously rate yourself a lot higher than other people. You may want to come out of the sun and drink a little water.

Dentally challenged hillbillies? Witty.

You may want to take a look at some of the parishes in LA before making fun of other states.

Shake it off killer...bitter people never prosper.

Sorry, brah -- I calls 'em like I sees 'em. We sat behind several of your compatriots at the SEC Championship game in Atlanta a few years back: all sporting mullets and creamsicle-orange overalls -- one shirtless -- it was truly a delight to be in their presence. I don't think one of them saw a single snap; all they did was stare at the Golden Girls the entire game. If only I'd brought a camera, I could share the hilarity of the event with you now. Too bad. Oh, and by the way,

is rather poor sentence structure. Just trying to help out, Cletus . . . .

Man, too bad you didn't bring your camera. That would be so funny.

Mullets and creamsicles. Not only would you be able to post those pics, but maybe some of the game.

You should really plan ahead next time. But for now, we'll just take your word for it.
