Heard about it a few months ago I'm interested to see what type of crowd it will draw

I think it'll last if they have a cool patio for watching sports and they better juice up that menu and quality of food.. Lafayette has way too many good restaurant choices around to waste money on shitty bar food.

I'm curious as to how an LSU themed restaurant/bar is going to be regarded in Lafayette. To watch a game or pregame is always a good time, to eat there not so much.

It'll fail because it's being parked between Wow Wingery and Buffalo Wild Wings, both pretty popular in Lafayette. It makes no sense to add a third sportsbar (with terrible food) within a one mile radius

I agree, only way it'll survive is if you put it near campus, and their aint no room

terrible food? well hell its certainly better than freaking Buffalo wild wings one of the places you listed.

I don't know why this board hammers the shite out of walk ons like it does. It isn't nearly as terrible as y'all makes it out to be. The food isn't the best, but when people act like you can't eat anything decent there, well that's just being ridiculous. It's a place with average food that's good for watching a game and drinking, and doesn't claim to be much else. I guess it's cooler to sound like a food snob here though.

hell this whole board said the coursey location wouldn't last more than a few months and the chimes would crush it

well I have heard from multiple people that they are not doing well at all there or the 2nd slitz.

And if you are suggesting that A. It compares to chimes foodwise at all, or B. That they are taking business away from chimes east then u need to put away the jack and brandon kool aid

having some really GOOD food choices isn't that much more difficult than having below average food choices.

where in the frick did I say that? as I said I'm not a huge fan of the place, but the food is not inedible like this board would have you believe.

and all you have to do is walk inside the perkins schlitz to see they're struggling.

Walk On's is a great place to grab a beer and a little saamthin to eat before a game.

I hope it does well, but should have put it closer to the baseball/football fields.
