We almost got screwed again in a Bama game by officials

In the 11th, Gibbs was called out at 1st on a double play. This could have been the second time we screwed by an official. Thankfully, it didn't dictate the outcome. What did you guys think of the call?

At the game I couldn't tell. It must have been close because it's hard to get a DP on a bunt. Pretty bad momentum killer there but we ended up ok.

i think it is sports, and more specifically baseball. It happens and is part of the game. Anyone who thinks there is either intent involved in missing calls, or that LSU doesn't get their share needs to stop watching sports. Your goal as a team should be to not make it close enough for the officials to effect the outcome..period. If you left it that close, you can only blame yourself.

The replayed showed it was a horrible call. His foot was coming off the bag when the 1st sacker caught it. Even the LSU hater, Kyle Peterson, said it was a bad call.

i don't argue it was a bad call, b/c i think it was. I am just saying it happens. Gibbs knew he was safe, yet he didn't even argue the call. HE accepts it is part of the game.

Both bad calls were close and were forgiven after then very next close call went our way

I agree with you first 2 sentences but that last one, you gotta be kidding me.
And that plate umpire was calling horrible third strikes.

Problem with the plate umpire was his inconsistent strike zone from the start to the end. Heck, even from inning to inning and pitcher to pitcher. That above all else is the thorn in my side. Especially that outside zone to right handed batters. It was just a joke. I kept yelling that he must live right down the street. 
BTW, I'd change the header to "Almost screwed again in a Bama game in Bama by Crimson Tide fans...I mean officials who live right down the street".
