We deserved the bad call, for freaking bunting We don't do bunting well, and for our best hitters to be bunting.... We usually screw it up, and the next hitter seems to always get a double.

This thread is stupid. We won the game. The umps/refs/whatever are not out to get us.

The problem is, is that the bad officiating continues to be a problem. It didn't cost LSU in this game, but how many schools have lost games on bad officiating. It also seems that the bad officiating only seems to be getting worse. You could argue that LSU should beat Alabama by 7 runs or 3 touchdowns, or 15 points, but the reality is that it's not like that anymore. There are a lot of games that are close and the outcome should not ever depend on the official. It's not fair to the teams and not fair to the poorly trained SEC officials. With the SEC being a premier conference there should only be the best of officials calling all SEC games, especially conference tournament games and conference championship games. The SEC is making plenty of money every year with all of the tv contracts and other forms of revenue that come in. Why can't a portion go to employ only the best officials? The SEC has the highest paid coaches, who are held to an even higher standard, why not have the highest paid officials with high standards?

Whenever we play Bama we have to overcome the officials and Bama. It's just part of the deal.
