IT has not stopped. Thad allen with CG say it appears to be effective... They won't know for anoth 12-24 hours how effective it is.

Didnt have a link, just an email from someone in Houston. But yes Fox news is reporting it. Well see.

Yes, which is why I don't understand the point of the thread.

The Thad Allen comment that that the leak has been stopped has been called premature and was old news in the stickied thread. I was hoping for a link to some new information, but apparentely not.

Mud is coming out because they are pumping mud in at rediculous pressures. It stoppped going dowm the well and now is coming out of the riser. It should be doing that until they stop pumping. Its not oil and that has to mean some sort of seal has taken downhole.
