LSU Players Drafted in the NFL Draft

LSU Players Drafted:

Chad Jones - 3rd Round, 12th selection, 76th Overall to the New York Giants

Brandon LaFell - 3rd Round, 14th Selection, 78th Overall to the Carolina Panthers

Perry Riley - 4th Round, 5th Selection, 103rd Overall to the Washington Redskins

Al Woods - 4th Round, 25th Selection, 123rd Overall to the New Orleans Saints

Trindon Holliday - 6th Round, 28th Selection, 197th Overall to the Houston Texans

Charles Scott - 6th Round, 31st Selection, 200th Overall to the Philadelphia Eagles

Congrats to these guys!!

Interesting considering Riley and Wood were never "stars" at LSU. Evidently the NFL guys saw something to take them relatively early. Riley was solid his last two years but not elite. Think he has the tools to do very well in the NFL though

It doesn't appear that an appreciation/congrats thread is popular enough right now among the posters of the rant. Usually if enough people request a sticky it gets done.

Same could be said of players projected to go in the 4-6th. rounds taken in the 2 and 3rd. rounds. Looks like most teams were trigger happy this year than most years.
