Hoffman's been pretty shaky this year, the shutout's not a guarantee here.

Wow and they bring on Hoffman in 9th. Guess he hasn't thrown in a couple days?

If Lucroy was in the big leagues, it would 30-0

They've outscored the Bucs 36-1 this series.

I was debating weather to start Randy Wolf. I made the right decision.

we all knew the Pirates would become the Pirates again at some point. Just a matter of time. They'll find their appropriate place in last soon enough

The Pirates - The MLB's poster-child for relegation to AAA ball

Hopefully the ship is righted for a while here. They give up 24 runs to the Nationals and then hold the Pirates to 1 run. Yeah it's only the Pirates but maybe the Brewers pitching isn't so atrocious.

Gallardo hasn't hit his spots and his pitch counts aren't letting get to the 6th because of it. Davis has been fricking atrocious. But when you look at our 7 losses, 1 came against the Rockies where we left I think 21 on base and 3 came at the hands of Hoffman and Hawkins.

I'm happy with the team so far and I would say this without the offensive explosion today. I just hope Davis stops sucking sweaty ballsack. Suppan will be Suppan, I expected this kind of production from Wolf, and Bush has shown promise in the past.

Yeah when you step back and look at it, it's not nearly as bad as some fans are making it sound. I'm going to the game tomorrow against the Cubs. Should be early enough in the season that Miller Park won't be Wrigley North.

I want to make a trip up there one day, but Sheets left me as a baseball orphan cause in the past I'd at least have his family to sit with.
