I have a want to slap the living piss out of LSU fans that talk about how funny Les sounds.

Do you realize that we have the most strange and basically illiterate sounding dialect in the country.

Outside of Louisiana when a cajun or coonass says anything EVERYBODY else wonders what the heck you just said.

Southerman, sorry for not being very clear. He dosnt talk funny, sound strange, or have a dialect. The main problem is he says NOTHING. He makes no points. I think the difference between the two is PM is a master of his craft, and LM is just clueless.

So PM is a master at speaking? Because that's what you're comparing in your original post. Which isn't original btw...

Most of the people in Louisiana that don't make sense are making 1/100 of what Miles makes.

I am not too concerned about how he sounds though. It's just very peculiar.

who gives a damn how he sounds. people should be concerned about him getting 10 or 11 wins this upcoming year.

yea, who cares what he sounds like. some people aren't smooth with their speak, big deal.

man wins ten games a year, and his teams have been blown out in only 5 out of 66 games. in or winning every other one.

doesn't even have to speak for all i care.

He tripped into that situation. I'm not talking about Saban's recruits or any of that bullshite, I'm talking about how many clueless dumb situations worked out for him. IMHO he made more stupid decisions that year than last year.

IF somehow we wouldn't have backed into that game after losing our final game, all you would be talking about is how bad he coached us. Seriously think of what games LSU was in position, not only to lose, but to lose because of Les' bad game management!

And also, to think of what had to transpire with other teams for that NC to happened. And you give Les the credit?

Funny how nobody had trouble understanding Coach Miles at the news conference before the 07' SEC Championship game when he gave his "damn fine" speech nor did anyone complain about his speech when he was on that podium after the 07' NC game. I bet if he goes undefeated next year & wins another NC, nobody will have any problems with how the man speaks or coaches for that matter. I'm not saying Coach Miles is a linguistics maestro but he was hired to COACH not serenade us. Anybody ever listen to Bobby Bowden-considered one of the greatest coaches in NCAA history, speak? Bobby sounds like he is talking with a mouth full of marbles but yet, people pay BIG bucks to hear him & love his "quirkyness". Wins & losses, on the rant at least, are directly related to a head coaches speaking abilities.

Obviously never been to North Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia, or Central Florida. Ever talked to someone from Glades, Fl? Screw your dialect analysis.

LSU has the only fanbase to ever complain about a title! Do you remember the 2 games we needed to go our way in 03 for us to get in?

You're preaching on deaf ears. (but you probably know this)
You'll never convince the Miles lovers.
Unfortunately, the only thing that will convince them is further erosion of a once great football program.

(And yes, I hope to God I'm wrong & I'll scream for LSU every game. But I think Miles is a bad coach who will continue to steer the program's decline.)
