If RS was named the starting QB over JJ, who has been starting for a year, I'd be very skeptical of Miles. Someone who is a great QB prospect is not the same thing as a QB who has had one and a half decent seasons behind center.

It would be a PR move, likely not a good football move.

I would ask if the Miles/Rodriguez trade would be announced at the game.

RS is in the spot(WR/RB/Kryptonian) he should be in. He is an athlete.

I don't think that it's that he isn't good enough moreso that he is so talented that he could be used in different ways.

No captain grammatical error, it doesn't. It means that we have plenty enough candidates at the qb position, and with his versatility he could be used elsewhere. Besides HE chose the to play WR. Miles was against it for a while.

...and then would almost immediately have been dumbfounded that the offense didn't just start clicking the way that you expected it to.

I think it would click right away and be very successful. It would be once teams adjusted to to strictly running the ball that would concern me.

No. I'm dumbfounded that we've had the same 2 QB's for three years now and the offense still isn't clicking.

Now go ahead and tell me a little bit about Rummel and their offensive woes.

Oh MoneyG will most definitely make you aware of that fact very shortly.

Apparently I have no room to talk about the dogshit that is the LSU offense because Rummel scored zero offensive points against Westgate or West Monroe.

I know RS isn't a QB at this level. it is a simple question.

I was thinking of why our attendance is so low, my theory is that it that for a year like this year there isn't anything EXTRA to look forward to:

same QB
same WR
RB by committee
same OL

That is correct. Since you are a coach, I think it's pretty reasonable that the same standard that you use to judge others is applied to yourself. Even you should be able to admit that getting shut out in the semi-finals and the finals is nothing to be proud of.

As for Shepard, I'm guessing that not only would you guys expect Shepard to play QB, but you'd also expect that LSU would change it's entire offensive philosophy and convert to a true spread option, rushing offense...even when Crowton has shown an inability to be able to do that successfully.

Put me down as someone who thinks the decision to put Shepard at WR was DEFINITELY the correct decision.

Apparently if you put russell shepard and QB in the same post then people assume then people think you want him to start.

not one poster has answered the question.

my guess, 50K

Same attendance. It's during the first few weekends of good weather. People have other things to do, especially when it's televised.
