Deadliest Catch

I will be watching. Probably going to be sad with Captain Phil dying.

He just died recently so they may just mention it at the end of an episode.

it'll be interesting to see what they do. i'm pretty stoked for this season.

he was pretty much my favorite captain though. did his sons just take over the boat?

Honestly, I probably won't watch it this year. It was interesting when it started, but it will just be more of the same...a bunch of tough guys talking smack and yelling at eachother, smoking, drinking, and trying not to get washed overboard...

I think Phil died during Opilio season, which will is shown in the second half (or so) of the Deadliest Catch season. It will be interesting to see how Discovery handles it. In the hospital, following his stroke, Phil told the camera men to keep shooting. It will all depend on what the family wants to be shown.

first couple of seasons were cool but its the same thing over and over again.

i thought i read he was on the dock during an offload, but i could easily be wrong there.

i'm sure he was loaded full of red bull & cigs though. how they do that is beyond me.

I will be as always......curios to to see how the brothers will act with Dad gone.

I know quite a few people that do this every summer. Crazy stuff. The only way one of them got through it was by keeping a calculator in his back pocket and calculating his pay all the time.
