what you got Watkins has a dislocated elbow will be out at min 3 to 4 weeks so what is your lineup with him out who takes his place

He has a dislocated left elbow - not shoulder

1 Mahtook rf
2 Hanover 2b
3 Dean 1b
4 Gibbs c
5 Gaudet dh
6 Landry cf
7 Dishon lf
8 Nola ss
9 Didier 3b

That's just me. He can make contact and has the speed. Hell, he's Grady Sizemore...just not going to be able to get out of the batter's box as quick as a LH. I truly think he needs to be our lead-off guy until Watkins returns. Nola at leadoff? Naaaah.

Tell him not to. And power from the lead-off is not a problem. Danny Higgins had it. I just think he's a natural 1 or 2 guy. Again, that's just me. The leadoff hitter always, of course, has the chance to get to the plate more than anyone else and Mahtook has the talent and tools to give us this advantage.

Yes he was. Glad to jog your memory, sir.

Nothing like leading off the CWS c'ship with a line drive dinger. Beats the hell out of singling to left and then depending on others.

Honkus, yeah it's time he steps up...but he may just never be ready to step up in the way we wish. I think we need to protect him as much as possible and hit him at either 7,8, or 9. Defensively, though, we don't really skip a beat with JD. I am glad we have him. Otherwise, who else would we have to come in and replace? Never underestimate the value of a utility outfielder who has some pop and speed.

Not sure I would agree with this. Right now, two guys who could easily fall back into hitting below .300. Nola has a disciplined eye. Hanover is still a tough nut to crack.

Dishon is about a .250/.333 type of player...depending on how well he can get the BB's and leave out the K's. I'm still uncertain as to what kind of player he truly is...even after seeing him come in for Landry 2 seasons ago. I think he's best playing at the end of the lineup...he could handle the 7, me thinks. I just wish one of Didier and Dozar and Delatte would emerge and we could put anybody else anywhere.

On the post game show PM said Watkins will be out 3-4 weeks w/ a dislocated elbow. Hopefully Dishon can limit the Ks, take plenty of pitches, and wreak havic on the basepaths.

Dishon = fastest guy on team.. White Lightnin'!!!
