Florida and Bama...honest opinion...

do we beat either of these teams while GC is still calling the plays?
or miles is still coach for that matter?
so discouraging watching the spring game...might just be venting, but let's be honest Meyer and Saban are so much more advanced when it comes to coaching and being a "CEO" of a college football team...

Gonzalez for QB?
Wilkerson for OL!
My biggest knock on Les is that he can't take charge of the O or D. Relies on his coordinators too much.
But, Yes we can beat both of these teams.

Well GC and Miles beat them both in 07'. They took Bama to OT in 08' with a freshman QB. If PP gets the INT call, we have a very good chance of winning last year. I would say it is likely that we can beat them. I think we beat both this year. Call me crazy but thats my opinion.

Like I said, there may be a tad bit of venting incolved in my rant, but i agree with you about Miles not taking charge enough on either side of the ball...
He needs to realize that this is his make or break year...I feel sometimes that he has too much trust in his coordinators as well...Not that a Head Coach should not trust his coordinators, but he obviously needs to learn how to improvise more (i.e. Cap One Bowl)

We have been the equal of Bama the past two years, but sometimes luck is on our side and sometimes it isn't...

To get my answer, you only have to check the sig quote of whatever idiot it is that quoted me saying Miles would never beat either of these teams again while he is coaching at LSU.
Miles starts every season he has left at LSU with these two losses, then we take our chances in the other ten games.

If we get the INT call, we are 60 yards away from the end zone, trailing by 6. What on earth would make you think the #112 offense in the country (with its starting QB and best RB hurt and out of the game) had "a very good chance" of driving those 60 yards?

Obviously, you are referring to the head to head games only, since we have been nowhere in the same universe with them over the seasons as a whole, so I'll address only the two games against them. We're 0-2. Claiming equality when down 0-2 is just manufacturing moral victories.

Because we did it a couple drives earlier in the game with JL at the reigns. Thats why.

I don't think we can back into the SECCG. Bama's too balanced, so we may as well agree that we have to beat Bama to win the West. Regardless of what happens in the SECCG, if we beat Bama and win the West, Les gets a reprieve. Lose to Bama and he's toast (I hope). We can beat both Bama and the Gators IF our QB situation improves; not much, but enough to take the heat off the ground game.
