I started a new one because I wanted to make sure many people read this. If anyone thinks the uconn women would stay within 20 points of BMHS you are fricking stupid. Women, people! Women!!! A good jv team would beat them and I don't give a shite how tall their center is. A good boys jv team has 3 guys that can dunk. They would out rebound them by double digits and run them to death. I speak from experience. Those of you who have played ball with me in the past know I'm not just talking shite. I was a good player in college, not great, at LA tech as a freshman in 87. My frat team scrimmages the national champion lady techsters and ran them out of the gym.....6 freaking white guys 6ft tall and shorter even. I just wanted to open the eyes of some of you who are delusional when you watch a woman's team dominate their WOMAN'S league. Not trying to be an a-hole. There's just a big athletic difference.

Then you don't watch much jv bball. Mine did when I was a sophomore at Huntington in Shreveport. Hell, dunham had 2 this year and they were 6'1" white dudes.

Btw, I said GOOD jv team not all

i have to think most people saying a good boys high school team couldn't beat UConn have never played or scrimmaged against a good girls team.

For a fund raiser at Newman in 1983 the guys who played anything but basketball played the faculty. Billy Fiztgerald played and one of my English teachers was actually a scholarship player at UNC in the early seventies. Their point guard was the all-time leading scorer in UNO women's history and I personally schooled her.
Any decent high school boys team would crush a womens college team. I played soccer and tennis in high school and we won by twenty.

i was thinking that. ive probably watched as much jv ball as the average person. just around school some times and seen a lot of teams play my school. not full games but every now and then. granted, i didn't know who could dunk from the other teams, but i also dont remember ever seeing it happen during a jv game.

my school is in the highest classification and probably the best region in the state of georgia. so that's pretty damn good basketball fwiw.

yet u havent seen BM play

and UConn would run a 1986 Tech team out the gym. they arent comparable

and i know several fraternity teams that could run BM out the gym. again, not really relevant

ETA: our bball teams aren't any good, but the region is sick. wheeler is a nationally known team and milton won the state title this year.

yeah

there are prob 10 better HS basketball teams in the state than Brother Martin(most of who i would confidently say could beat UCONN). Maybe more. They simply aren't that good. they got hot at the right time.

I coach freshmen and had two that could dunk out of nine. JV had three out of twelve.

check out some of the black fraternity's @ big schools and the rec basketball teams they field.

shoot my brothers fraternity team had 3-4 all district players from the catholic league that would run BM out the gym. trust me
