But see Freauxzen, it's not that I'm against vs threads in general IF the the two subjects being discussed are related in a sensible way.
The vs thread has gotten bastardized to where the two subjects aren't even related except by something stupid and irrelevant like they both are the same age.
P.S. didn't realize SFP started this thread earlier this week.

Guess my meter is broken this morning
Personally I'd love to see:
Takashi Shimura vs Toshiro Mifune
Star Wars vs Lord of the Rings
Popcorn Films vs Art Films
Steven Spielberg's Serious Movies vs Spielberg's Fun Movies
These have much better potential for deep thought than just "I like Person A better because he was in this movie and Person B wasn't." I guess I just felt like ranting this morning.
