Big announcement for LSU basketball today?

I was told that a big announcement was expected today from the LSU basketball program. The person I spoke with heard it on the Jimmy Ott show. Just curious if anyone knows anything or if it is a bunch of BS.

You know what, I didn't think about that when I read about Kent being fired or reading this thread. You are soooo right. That might be where he is going. God, I hope not.

Haven't heard anything about him to Oregon, the only rumor was him to Boise State which doesn't make sense except that he played there.

I went and did a basic quick search for oregon boards and I see Lon Kruger's name tossed around as well as Mark Turgeon. But I don't have a scout acct, so I couldn't see much of anything. I did about a 30 second search so I could be missing something.
I'd like to add, I hope Trent is staying and that this news is that the Training Center will be open next week.

Well, it looks like they might put up the big bucks to get the man they want. At the bottom of the article is a list of potential candidates...but that was pure speculation on the reporter's part. And TJ's name isn't on the list.
We'll see.

I can't see it either. Only thing I could see Trent disliking about LSU is the apathy from both fans and LSU sports administration for basketball.
There's no way he's going to Oregon, it was just brainstorming.
