Here's the thing: you have to consider not just your team, but how your team stacks up compared to it's opponents.
Based on UA losing so many starters, and UF not far behind plus a new DC, I'd say LSU has a very good shot at being the best defense in the SEC next year.

God our schedule is brutal. We start out with a tough opponent in Georgia instead of the usual guaranteed win. Then go to Nashville a week later come home for an improved Miss. State team, host WVU, followed by Tennessee. Travel to Florida before finally playing a guaranteed win against McNeese in week 7. Auburn the next week then a week off and Bama comes to town. Finish up with Ole Miss and Arky. Thats a tough one.
