AMC orders Walking Dead TV Series Pilot

I did a search and didn't see any threads on this. This news is a bit old but I just found out about it so I'm posting it here. The Walking Dead is by far the best comic series I've ever read, and would recommend it to anyone. If AMC can pull this off it will be a fantastic series.
