Crawfish/Crab boiling pot

Looking into getting a pot for boiling crawfish and crabs. Should I go with a 100 qt or 120 qt?
I find the 80 qt is borderline too small for a sack of crawfish.

I got 100, which easily boils 1 sack. I can't think of any reason I'd need the extra 20 qts, but that's just me.

A 100qt pot will do 2 sacks of crawfish (crawfish only) or 1.5 sacks with a little poatoes, sausage, corn, etc.
It just depends on how much you will be cooking at a time. 120 qt. pot is not that much bigger than a 100 qt though. Might be able to squeeze in 2 sacks plus sides with a 120qt.

Somebody told me a while back to go with a 120 qt something to do with crabs. I don't remember his reasoning. Maybe you can boil 2 hampers in one 120 qt pot?

Go with 120. You might need bigger later for reasons you dodn't yet know.
Remember, if a little is good, more is better.

2 sacks in a 100qt pot.....your 100qt. pot must be bigger than my 120qt pot.

Done it lots of time. Just crawfish and seasoned water, nothing else. You barely have to cover the crawfish with water for them to cook and for the water to boil.
