If anyone doesn't want to wait for NBC to show us the Super G tonight, here's a link to Bulgarian TV online that is showing it live.

Does anyone know who the primary challengers will be? Are they coming up at the top of the race?

The top competitors are in the first 25-30 to go. The Swiss guys are solid, Svindal of Norway and Raich of Austria are the favorites. Though Bode did used to be a world champion in this event.

I'd still settle for holding on to a medal or two here.

Anyone legit left besides Defago and Kostelic?

Also, is it just one run or are they doing it a second time?

One run. And Defago and Kostelic would rate to be the only true challengers left after Walchhofer's abysmal run.

ETA: Didn't see Streitberger hadn't gone yet. Not elite, but I wouldn't count him out in Super G

This is likely going to be Weibrecht's best world class finish in any event ever. And he's only just turned 24. Could be hearing from him in the downhill and Super G in Sochi.

What exactly does this mean? I know nothing about skiing since I've done it literally once in my life and sucked at it.
