I am from the area, saw they had a great year and fired the football coach, whats up with this? My cousin is in middle school there and plays football no one knows what really happened.
Anyone know who will be the next coach? I heard a guy on staff might take over for good?

brodie wasn't fired, he made it clear he was leaving for carencro to coach with his brother in law and work towards his state pension.
Haik is the coach now but the new principal will decide on the HFC and AD job for next year

Brodie was the DC there back in the glory days and he needs to build up his years for his state retirement

ehhhhh I dont know why Mac would want to do that with all of Mowad's guys there. especially when Mac is pretty much admitting on the radio every Monday that he is burnt out and BB has already gone without Mowad (when he was getting treatment) and were successful

in St Martin Parish:
1) Breaux Bridge Football
2) Cecilia Football
3) St Martinville Basketball
4) everything else
so just plugging MB into a situation as intense as BBHS football without any real connection to the program or community with a staff that has been together for a long time would be dicey. It would take Mowad saying point blank "this is what I want so make it happen" for MB to have a chance there and I seriously doubt Mowad would take a stand for an outsider over one of his own guys.
I heard the School Board President went to Kaplan on Monday and got involved with the process of replacing Indest. The rumor is Lotief at NVHS is who the Kaplan Admin wants but the School Board is getting involved. Not sure why Lotief is good enough for one Parish School but not another. If they did stand in the way of Lotief going to Kaplan then that sends a terrible message to Maurice and to Lotief himself. Would be political suicide for the School Board to do that.

Brodie is leaving because his son is a senior this year. And yeah he will be at the "Cro Dome" next year.
