Knowing this and watching his film, I honestly won't get pissed if Hunter is the odd man out next year.

dude appears to have all the attributes that make a great DT. Here's to hoping he gets to an LSU camp and gives the coaches no choice but to offer him.

MJ is impressive as all hell.

I hope we take all 3 next year. Good defensive tackles are not that easy to find and we've got a handful in our backyard.

After watching both in person..Mickey for about three years also playing opposite him for one year, and watching Chucky in the dome..I think Mickey is better..but i think the West Monroe program is on a WAY higher level then SPS when it come to talent that they may offer just to keep that pipeline flowing..

But yeah, Mickey is better..nothing against Chuck, this just showes how deep we are in the state this year

This kid looks good..reminds me of hester at FB..Funny if anybody knows but Dylans(JD) family were huge Covington high football family..he was the first kid to go to SPS, breaking tradition, apparently his Uncle was a legend of some sort at Covington..kid runs real hard, could also play LB

LSU should take both. We did an eqaully bad job at attempting to block both Hunter and Johnson.

Come to think of it, Rummel played against the following last year:

Houston Bates
Mickey Johnson
Jacobs from HLB
Freak Johnson
Elliot Porter
Kid from Westgate who was very good
Jordan Allen
Chuck Hunter

Mickey Johnson, is the second best DT in the state. He plays in a more structured Defense then Freak..His film to me is dominating at times.

I agree. I work with his mom and I hope he is a tiger, but he has to do what is best for him.

I say we take all 4 because Quentin could turn out to be a SDE instead of a DT. He has the athleticism and quickness for it...and that would free up a spot fo Chuck, who I want. Maybe Thomas could be a versatile guy who can slip inside and out.

Rasco(DE)
Freak
Thomas(DE)
Hunter
Johnson

Ridiculous DL class...

I agree. I don't know what else Les needs to see before offering him. His films are impressive.

He plays in a shitty Northshore area league...that is why. He dominates because almost every team in that area sucks bad. Not saying he lacks ability but he overwhelms because the league is terrible.

Its similar to Bates/Williams this year. That area just doesn't get a lot of exposure.

You gotta take all four. As mentioned Thomas might be able to play some DE. Also, you can seperate them with redshirts.

I don't know who his uncle is, but his grandfather is Jack Salter. As in, "Jack Salter Stadium."
