Jersey Shore cast declines MTV's initial offer for season 2

That is nuts they are getting that kind of money to shoot Jersey Shore.

For as much as MTV is making off of that shite I cannot believe they would offer 5k.... Hell, every one of the cast members gets that much to make an appearance at a bar.

It's because the people on the show have absolutely no talent at all and can easily be replaced with some other guido dbags. Ratings might drop if they switch people up but it's not like MTV would be losing a potentially longrunning franchise.

Pauly d, mile the situation and snooki should turn them down/ask for more money.. They make the show and/or can get more money doing somthing else. Everyone else should take the offer.

Some of them do need to come back. Angelina is obviously not, and Ronnie and Sammie need to go (especially Sammie). Jwwow is cool, and Vinny is the only sane guy of the group. There is no debate that Pauly D, Snooks, and the Situation need to return. That would make it to where there would be 3 more new cast members.

But that show is about those people lives(even though its fake) you can't get else to come in and play Spencer. Jersey Shore isn't about their lives it's about Guidos living in a house and going out. Every person they stand next to in club could be a potential replacement.

Considering sitch's rate for an appearance is like 7k, I'd laugh at the MTV execs face if I were him.

True, but I also think if you bring in a new group, they are gonna go over the top trying to 1 up the original cast.

Thats why I think you bring back Situation, Pauly, Snooks, Vinny, Jwoww, and 3 new house mates.

That's what sucks about these shows.

That's what ruined jackass.

They become celebrities and that changes EVERYTHING about the show. If people can recognize you and know who you are without saying a single word to you that is going to change the entire dynamic of the show.

I'd love them to be back for a season 2, I've just already accepted the fact that it won't be as good as this one.

This. They just need to find a new cast - and preferably a better group of females personality-wise.
