That will not be LM's undoing. There is a sufficient waiting list for LSU tickets to carry ticket sales for many years to come.

Miles undoing or any coach for that matter, will the fact that his salary composition is largely dependent on donations to a booster organization such as TAF.

LSU (state of LA) only makes up a small portion of LM's salary. I'd guess around 10-15%. I'm sure someone could look that up. If donations to TAF decline to the point that his salary cannot be maintained, that will be the undoing.

It won't be ticket sales barring a complete and total collapse, it will be donations to the booster organization. BTW, this applies to any large school w/ a high dollar coach, not just LSU.

You are correct. Just because they have a lot of money doesn't mean TAF higher ups are not big fans. They are upset about these past two years like much of us. They just might not be as rash.

Let LSU not sell all their tickets for the Alamo Bowl or the Liberty Bowl next year and things will change.

You can get tickets in the stadium club around the 50 yard line - 'donation' is $2,750 per seat and there are some available. That way you get your seats and also help pay for Miles' salary.

Last year if you were a new member, that would have required around a $33,000 one time donation.

Hmmm. May think about doing that with a couple of other people.

This notion that we should get the University's attention by not buying tickets is an absolute joke. You are a Martian if you don't think the administration is not conscious of our win/loss record, independent of ticket sales.

I really hope the pathetic fans on this board stop buying their tickets so that more worthy fans can have them. You need to accept that you have no control over who the coach is, the assistants he hires, or the players he recruits. Those decisions are made by professionals who actually know something about how to run a University and its athletic program.

Tixs on the 50 will carry a $950 surcharge per tix this year. Many of you talk big but I bet would not open your wallet if opportunity knocks.

not sure where you get this notion....I've been a taf member for years and have not been able to get one additional ticket for the last 4 seasons...

Many of these "fans" could open their wallets all day long and not have the cash to buy the tickets which they pathetically threaten not to buy in protest. There are a couple tools that come to our tailgate who didn't actually go into any games this year. They claim that it is to pressure the University into firing Miles. But the reality is that they rarely enter the stadium no matter how good we are--a trend which began soon after they stopped matriculating.

I say we get BadCat, LSU Beatles, Craig Ferguson and Choctaw to pony up the money for all of us. Since they have such faith in Miles, maybe they'll be willing to pay his salary until he implodes. lol

TRUE. You people are talking too much shite. I barely sold my extra 4 together for the face value plus TAF fees last year. The "demand" isn't as high as the posters on this board lead us to believe. People like the idea of having season tickets. Writing checks for the tickets is another animal. People get a little gun shy when you ask them for a few G's.
