He is the HC at a mid. level school. He had 7 Years under Saban. His Dad is Vence who was at GA for many years, Point being he seems to have the background.

Cue the "I really loved his play calling ability" posts. Is anyone a fit here? Ogeron, maybe.

He wouldn't be my first choice but he would definitely be on the list

draconian I would have to agree, Dont know what he would do at this level as a HC. But I would love to see him on the list also.

You want LSU to hire a coach from a lower tier conference who hasn't had any real success?

Yes, until he loses his first game, at which time the tards would says he can't run a big program.

I am more or less just asking the question. I dont know about him at LSU, but if we had to get a coach that is not one of the top 10 in the country then I would say put him on the list. I do like what he has done at La Tech. Keep in mind it is La Tech.

It means that all of a sudden, after our near loss to La Tech, tards around here started claiming he is such a great play caller and would win big with LSU's unbeatable talent. Typical kneejerk lovefest with the coach that nearly beats or does beat LSU's super talent drenched roster led by a man they hate. His playcalling hasn't won much of anything.... in the WAC.

hell no. are you serious? really??
Posted on 1/2/10 at 6:50 pm to LockdownDefense
Tell you the Truth I would love to see LSU open the check book and go get the best coach out there that will take the job. But it dosnt always workout that way. So yes I am serious. BUT GETTING THE BEST COACH OUT THERE IS MY 1ST CHOICE.

hell yeah I mean he is tearing it up in the WAC right now. The WAC is scared of Tech ..... oh wait

Dooley would be the bargain basement choice. We should not be bargain shopping.
Patterson is realistic. His 2009 salary was 1.3 mil.

He does a hell of a lot more with the talent he has than Miles does.

He must be coaching div II talent then.

+1
LSU can find an established guy with proven success. Patterson would rule.
