I have thought about having a bowl which would invite the two WORST teams in the country. I think that more people would watch that than some of these bowls

We're already getting that in the NFL with the Lions and Rams, or the Raiders and Chiefs.

doubt it will get NCAA approval as there are already two new bowls seeking approval in 2010 (Yankee Bowl (Yankee Stadium, NYC) and the Dallas Football Classic (Cotton Bowl, Dallas)) that would be played in much bigger markets, along side of the fact that a bowl game in NYC would create a lot of media buzz. If the Cure Bowl was approved, it would also mean 3 bowls for Orlando and I don't see the NCAA going for that with the other options out there.

I'm all for a game promoting breast cancer awareness, but, I think they would get more attention if they made it a kickoff game with teams people would actually like to see play.

ETA: You could call it Kickoff for the Cure.

I'm trying to figure out how they are going to honor all these requests. This brings the total to 3 more games next year (6 teams). I can only think of 3 eligible teams that did not go bowling this year.
