they cannot afford to lose three games in row with the last reg. season game headed into the playoffs. they need some sort of momentum which is why i believe they'll be playing their best football regardless of whether or not minn. loses tonight...i predict 3 to 4 touchdown passes from brees with at least 2 rushing touchdowns with a score of 38 to 45 points...and the defense comes out with a chip on their shoulder and holds carolina to 17.

GO SAINTS!!!

You think it's a matter of "choice"?

The Saints "chose" to lose to the Cowboys?

The Saints "chose" to lose to the Bucs?

The Saints will beat the Panthers because they will "choose" to beat them?

How about we rest the players who are not 100% recovered from injury, maybe rest some other players who need it, and worry about the next IMPORTANT game, which will be our playoff game.

I'm not much of a beliver in this "momentum" theory of yours. The Saints had all the momentum in the world at 13-0, and lost it. The way to get it back is to identify the problems and fix them. Placing all emphasis on beating the Panthers just because we want the momentum is the wrong approach. Fix the problems. Even if you have to lose to the Panthers as a price of fixing the problems, fix the problems anyway.

The playoff game is all that matters, so, get ready for that game.

did they not lose momentum in the middle of the second quarter? yes or no

playing with passion is very noticable...did you see as much passion in the second half of that game? to me playing with passion for 60 minutes is key to not losing "momemtum".

this is the saints we're talking about....i just think spanking carolina would be a much needed confidence builder going into the playoffs since they havent been playing well as of late....but you're right this is the nfl and certainly if they do lose to carolina anything is possible when they get to the playoffs....they may dominate...or lay down like they did for tampa
