Ok, I got lost in all that but thanks for your effort. Now out of all of those who are considered 'elite' athletes and an SEC team would be interested?

The state of Mississippi remains fertile recruiting ground and Ole Miss and Mississippi State are doing battle for most major recruits for the 2010 signing class and the same is likely to happen for the following class. It's a class with a lot of talent, including several prospects who were recently named to the All-State team by the Jackson, Miss. Clarion Ledger.

I believe 2012 will be the year for LSU to invade Mississippi. The following underclassmen were very impressive:

I doubt it. Louisiana is loaded for 2011. I don't see any 5 star kids or Rivals 100 kids on that list. We'll probably fill out our class from Texas and Florida.

Yeah I recognize some of those names but none of those guys are eye-pooping like the kids in Louisiana, Texas, and Florida in 2011. I guess only a few from Mississippi will make Rivals 250.

Yeah he's got some skills and he can fly. Reportedly runs a 4.35 40. Kid is electric with the ball in his hands. Looks effortless and can score from anywhere on the field. He's amassed receiving, rushing, and kick/punt return touchdowns this year. I've seen him play the last two years and whoever signs this kid is getting a good one. Not just talking about on the field either. Kid is very humble, just seems like a good kid.

Any of you guys living in Mississippi help me here.
I see one kid on the list from Philadelphia. The district they used to play in with Kosciusko, Louisville, Starkville, Eupora used to be real good.
Do they not play good football in that part of the state any more?
Also noticed a kid or two from Vicksburg High. Does Warren Central not have dominate teams like they used to?
Moved away from Kosciusko 30 something years ago. Was just wondering what has happened to some once proud programs.
