To provide a parallel thread to the bad guy thread.
I'll start w/ 1) David Toms.
Great w/ kids, charity, and LSU community. For the fall David Toms invitational at CCL he conducted a clinic w/ all the participants just to give them so insight on what it takes to make it on tour, and much other stuff.
Does a ton for LSU. Real good guy.
2) Drew Brees - did not just come to NEW ORLEANS to play but adopted the city, its people, its history, and represents it well. Involved in a ton of charitable activies also.
3) Kurt Warner - Not as familiar w/ him but have always heard great things.

Andre Johnson here in Houston. He just took a bunch of kids Christmas shopping recently.

If you're going to use those first two players as an example, you better add Duece McAllister to that list. He's done everything with in his powers for New Orleans.
Damn near went broke helping the city out after Katrina.

Absolutely. Duece a great guy.
Would love to see the saints bring him back for a single game and retire number or something. If the injuries don't ease up they may need to bring him back to play.

I see some of you said it but my first thought was Warrick Dunn

Madieu Williams, a safety for the Vikings, donated $2 million to his alma mater, the University of Maryland, in honor of his mother, to create the Madieu Williams Center for Global Health Initiatives to help children in his homeland of Sierra Leone, Africa, one of the poorest nations on earth. That's a pretty big step up to the table for a 28 year old immigrant from Africa (or anybody else for that matter).

Pete Caroll-even though he's an a-hole on the field.
