Would love to see Patrick Peterson returning punts next year...CJ is great at the sure catch inside the 20 but we need a true threat back there.

I would guess Brooks would still be back on kicks but not sure who the homerun hitter will be...maybe Shep if he is out of the question at QB.

Other possibilities?? Claiborne, Calhoun, John Williams??

Man I would like to see them at least give him a shot, but you know even if he comes he barely sees the field.

I think Peterson would be great, too, but Miles might want somebody who can have the job for a couple of years, and most think PP's gone after next year anyway. Also, I know DBs return kicks all the time, but dude might be tired after sprinting up and down the field for an entire series/drive.

I was excited about John Williams, but dude has not even sniffed the field yet. And I have no idea why? If he is that dynamic, I would think he might have played already.

If Shep is not going to be a QB, and instead a WR/TB/Wilcat hybrid, then there is absolutely no reason why he shouldn't be at least given a shot to return kicks.

I always thought Darkness (Richard Murphy)would be a good choice for kickoff returns.

let me see. the best threat we have would be SHEPERD.

i will take him against any other with the ball in his hands.

Peterson? Negative Ghost Rider.

Shep? No, again. (Not because he can't do it, but because he is a valued asset.)

Obviously Brooks will be back there.

I would bet on seeing Murphy if he comes back and can't take the starting spot.

Other than that, Claiborne or Calhoun would be semi-obvious choices in my eyes.

I am not conservative like that though. If I had my choice it would be Shep and Jones, and if Jones were to go pro baseball on us, then it would be Brooks because he has the experince doing it.

NEVER would I throw an All-American DB back there in a million years. His job is defense, and it should stay that way.

The same reason Deion Sanders' teams kept putting him back there
