Gore vs. Eagles

Maroney vs. Bills
(in snow/bad weather, probably have to run a bit more)

Any thoughts?

I think Gore back. Pats will pass the ball all game so Maroney will not have a good game

But if you think back Mr. Maroney stood out vs. the Titans on a field covered with snow. From what i hear team just run the piss out the ball cause buff run D is that terrible

gotta go with Gore, he looked on fire vs. cardinals.

NE running backs are hard to rely on.

After looking back, the one favorable factor about Gore is that, yeah philly hasnt allowed many yards on the ground. However, they havent played a featured RB like Gore. Playing Oak, Wash, NYG, Dallas, ATL (no Turner). They did allow 96 and 2 TDs to a struggling LT about 4 or 5 weeks ago.

Buff run D is dead last in the league and he still got 20 carries with Morris back last game. With the forecast calling for snow and Brady still dinged up I think they run the balls more.

First, let me give a disclaimer. I didn't go study any stats before I wrote this.

When I first saw your post, my initial reaction was that if it's snowing for the Patriots game, they'll give the ball to someone who is sure handed. That means Faulk, not Maroney. If the Bills think Brady is banged up (which he appears to be), they'll be stacking the box if they can, which will give Brady easier opportunities to get to Moss and Welker. Speaking of Moss, after being called out last week, I'm sure there's a plan for him to see the ball early and often.

On the other side of your question is Gore. Usually, I'd favor the feature back over a RBBC. But, you're right, the Eagles are fierce and the Bills aren't. Seems like Gore has flourished even against good Ds, but you might want to check that. The down side, of course, is that the 49ers play an early game in the east. I believe in the west coast curse. Coming off that drumming of the Cards, they've got a short week and the travel and the getting up early and the Eagles need to win.

Changed my mind. Play Maroney.

Looks like most ff sites like Maroney more this week. I'm still leaning to Maroney
