My DVR box stopped showing the time on the display. It also lost all its normal features such as: guide, pause, rewind, record, On Demand, DVR list and pretty much everything except the channel changer and the volume control. Anyone had this happen to them?

yeah cox sucks, and most of us have to live with it. Mine completely crapped out on me had to get a new one. I asked why not give me a new one to begin with? So fricking stupid wasted mine and their time by giving me a shitty old one in the first place.

If you think you're box is in bad shape don't even bother calling, just bring it in and they'll give you a new one. Calling always sucks and rarely fixes it unless you're just missing channels.
