Michigan commitment that Dandy Don suggests we are now recruiting. Any more to this story?

From what I've read, Wilson likes him a lot and was recruiting him to UT and now is doing so for LSU.

I'm not as hyped about this. Saw him on the same field as Blue @ the Rummel/Hahnville game and I just wasn't that impressed. Definitely looks like a D-1 prospect, but I believe LSU already has a # of guys already committed at his position that are just better athletes.

He really wasn't the standout on defense (Rummel LBs are unbelievably good). He does well on punt returns, but he wasn't in the same league physically as an Alfred Blue.

We should be looking at one of those LB's Rummel has. May not be the biggest but they got great speed and if they hit you, you're going down

I been told that they (Phillip Helmstetter and Myles O'Brien) have been getting some D-1 attention recently.

Kind of what I was getting at.He looked like a kid standing next to Alfred Blue.

I think we have plenty of "athletes" in this class. I would love to finish the class with a few more OL/DL. Stud OL/DL win championships.

Not SEC caliber but I wouldn't be surprised if either was offered by Tulane or another Conf USA/MAC team.

Yeah, but he's presently committed to Michigan.

Utah usually recruits future pro bowlers (Steve Smith, Jordan Gross, Sean Smith was a 2nd rounder).
