No, he isn't. But, he can bring in quality assistants and recruit well enough to compete with Saban.

Why does this matter? Saban is at Bama now. Miles is at LSU. End of story.

Just to clarify - Saban is not our coach nor will he ever be our coach again.

Thanks for bringing up an original topic to discuss, though.

Miles can recruit and motivate his team better than Saban, he just needs to make up for his big deficiency from coaches like Saban, organizational skills. You get two highly organized coordinators coaching on the field next to Miles, it has the potential to be as good or better than any coaching situation Saban can put up there.

Miles + Crowton = worse than almost any coaching lineup Saban will put up against it.

That's right, Saban is at Bama. Glad u could figure that much out. Now, try to figure this out. We have to go thru Bama every year. Talent wise, yeah, we match up. Coaching, Miles isn't even in the same ballpark.

I think that shows that Miles can be the better motivator. Saban's bowl teams come out flat from time to time.

sabans teams always looked pretty intense to me. Motivated is not the word.

I would say they are "on a mission" and will not stop till they acheive.

Then why did his more talented team (this year) come so close to losing to Miles less talented team?

LSU wasn't less talented, you dumbass. Top to bottom we had just as much talent. Just didn't have the coaching to get their full potential out of them.

Not at O-line and linebackers. I admit they werent that much more talented, but Saban did almost lose at home to Miles. So how isnt he even in the same ball park?
