So are LSU fans for Bama or Texas?

I am just curious about how LSU fans view this.
Obviously, many of you cannot bear the thought of your former coach winning a NC for a team in the same division of the same conference, and then there is the famed arrogance of Alabama fans in general, which is a turnoff to virtually all SEC fans......and then there is the fact that you got robbed by the officials in your game against them this year......
I guess stacked against that is conference loyalty and the reputation of the SEC being maintained, plus the fact that many of you are not too enamored with your next-door neighbors to the west, either, who are just as arrogant in their own way but with whom you don't compete directly.......
What say you?

It's a lose/lose situation in my opinion. Considering that I live in Houston, it would likely be unbearable if UT beat Bama.

Most Tiger fans are probably divided by the points you bring up.
While I like to see the SEC prevail in post-season performance, it would be extremely fun to see the Saban worshippers try to explain how ole dummy Mack Brown and the Horns beat the Great One! Therefore, for entertainment purposes, I guess I'd like to see Texas win.

LSU recruits Texas much more than Alabama. The SEC winning the NC (again) only helps LSU in the future if LSU is the hunt and there are other close deserving teams.
That said, I will be rooting for a meteor.

Nah, it will make his speedy exit from Bama that much more speedy. He knows it's much harder to maintain than to get there, so he will haul arse for the first higher offer.

My 2 oldest kids are at UTexas.
Bama is SEC, and have been playing well.
My job has had me in Texas since '85.
Most Texas fans I encounter are knowledgeable, at least, and not as unbearable as most of the gumps I've met.
I'm leaning towards Texas.

I get your meaning, but at the CWS we competed pretty directly with Texas.
I always pull for the SEC and I have no ill feelings toward either Nick or Bama.
For that matter, I don't have a problem with Texas either, but SEC rules for me.

Really a no-win situation for LSU, but I'm pulling for Texas. LSU gets its share of recruits from Texas, and it doesn't play them every year. Saban's already poaching/trying to poach guys from Louisiana, and LSU has to beat Bama to get out of the West.
