LSU has 23 current commits. assuming they all stay, who do we finish with? who do we hold a spot for? and how will the roster #'s look?

Very unlikely, under the best of circumstances. Probable that at least one OOS recruit switches.

Is Trovon an option again? I read some article that said Frank to LSU could make a difference.

That is a HUGE assumption, as every year it seems we have guys switch/ineligible, BUT
in the event everybody stays true we have 5 spots available (28 total) to my knowledge. I think we end up with:

Alfred Blue
Brad Wing
Corey Lemonier
James Wright
Jarrett Fobbs

*indicates possible switch

Zach Lee
Spencer Ware
Brandon Worle
Mike Davis*
Justin Hunter*
Nick Jacobs
Travis Dickson
Elliot Porter
Jermarcus Hardrick
Evan Washington
Cameron Fordham
Dexter Blackmon
Cassius Marsh
Jordan Allen
Justin Maclin*
D.J. Welter
Luke Muncie
Eric Reid
Sam Gibson
Ronnie Vinson
Tyrann Mathieu
Tharold Simon
Houston Bates

In the event we lose some of those guys that would open the door for Gore, Ferguson, Jackson(cap RB),and some other wild cards.
I have made a self-imposed stipulation that prohibits me from speaking on that Halfback from temple (samsonite?) until NSD.

It would be nice to land Ego, Corey Lemonier, Fobbs, Gore, and Frankie Jackson.

It's an either or situation with:

Gore and Jackson

and

Ego and Lemoiner

I think Ego the clear take between the two. I've been really impressed with the way he carries himself and how serious he is about football. Also, Ego is a big strong side DE. We have enough weak side DE projects and we need a big nasty DE to put on the other side of the line. Also, he has the body type to play on the inside if we need him to.

Gore and Jackson is another story. I'm pretty conflicted. I don't know all that much about Jackson except that he looked really good on a HS team with a QB that is going to play at a D-1 school. If he was in Hilliard's situation and putting up the same kind of numbers that he has been, I would be sold on him. Gore worries me a little bit because Miami passed on him. I don't love the "this school did this, so we should do the same" but when a school passes on a 4 star player who is a legacy via one of the more famous alumni,it's definitely a big red flag.

Isn't there an SEC imposed limit of 25 signees per year or am I wrong?

SEC- 28 signees
NCAA - 25 enrolled scholarship athletes.

It's a complex system with a lot of loopholes, though. Coaches always make it work.

Your friend must have a TSD subscription.

Flask was probably alluding to that it is possible LSU will not accept his commit when Miles goes to visit him this week.

I think we will accept it based on the attention LSU has given him of late.
