It's an article attempting to compare the Ole Miss/LSU game to managing a business.

quote:

For those of you who watched the LSU game against Mississippi the other night, there’s only one thing you’ll remember about that game—how atrociously the Tigers mismanaged the end of the game. LSU didn’t lose to Mississippi as much as they gave the Rebels the game because of their own lack of preparation and foresight.

So how come he doesn't follow up with how well management was at the end of the Arky game? Ah well...

Not sure of your point but in business it is often relayed that for every one mistake/bad behavior(action) etc. you need 4 to 10 positives to overide or make people move past the one negative event.

Miles made at least three bad decisions on that last drive so I figure he owes us 29 now (he called a time out appropriately in the Arky game).

Geaux Tigers.

The source may not be all that, but all that has a lot of truth in it.

Here is another 1:
Anything with two heads is a freak !
You can not have 2 people in the same position / same title / same authority and responsibility.
..do we remember our 2 headed DC fiasco and who created it ?

...same management school

It was just a football game, but one that in the course of less than a minute and a half demonstrated exactly how not to be a great manager.

Interesting...

Because when you are paid the way Miles is paid, getting every other one right is not cool.

Because these are BASIC clock management decisions that anyone with a passing interest in football could make correctly.

How our very highly paid HC continually botches these basic type of decisions escapes me.
