These will probably be better though... but not necessarily with LSU fans.

I assumed it would be cheaper to get them through LSU and won't they run out?

thru LSU you will get better seats, they are only offereing $80 seats which will be 100's 200's or between the 20's in the 300's

ticketmaster only has seats in multiples (more then 1) in Big 10 section...... or endzones.....

Last time I got my tickets through Ticketmaster and I will have to say seats were really good.
We even brought a buddy who did not have tickets and he ended up with better tickets than us for cheaper by buying outside the stadium.

If you are a season ticket holder & requested tickets from LSU, it should not be a problem. Historically, the only time season tickets holders are not guaranteed tickets due to demand is when LSU plays in the Sugar Bowl, SEC Championship or BCS National Championship.

I bet you can buy some on ebay for less. In 2005, I couldn't make the Capital One Bowl and had to sell my tickets on ebay. I had to sell them for far less than face value. I will never again request tickets from LSU for Bowl games other than BCS games due to this.

Why do people come on here for opinions when they can spend 5 min going to the source and realize there are tickets available easily at the cap 1 website... why do they think people on here are so informed?

I have mixed feelings. I've gotten worse seats for more money because of buying them through LSU (because they were going for less than face on eBay). However, it's always nice for LSU to say that we sell "our" tickets out.

...Good point. Buying tickets from LSU is very important.

If it fails to sell out it's alotment, this will adversely effect LSU's chances to get future invites to better bowls especially in Florida.

LSU developed a poor reputation of attending bowls other than the Sugar Bowl in the 1980's. If we arent' careful, LSU could drop like a rock in the selection process.
