The Ole Miss game is yesterday's boxscore. Keep it alive here and elsewhere, and it will signal the beginning of the end for LSU Football. Keep it alive, and it will go from being a blip on the screen to something malignant and enduring that will affect this program for years to come.

This may already have happened to some extent, but keep up the blogs, and this will doom recruiting for years to come. Time to smarten up, Tigers. Les Miles is the coach and will be for some time to come. THAT is reality. Damn him and you damn the program as well.

"The Ole Miss game is over? Geeez.......I thought we had another timeout."

Signed,
Les Miles.

Wrong.

The Ole Miss sign is a big, neon saying screaming out that the program is already in decline and we better fix it fast.

IF anyone has "damned" this program, its CLM.

Are you serious? Let it go? Let that complete coaching failure go? I am over that the Tigers lost to Ole Miss. I know that they were outplayed. I can live with that. What I have a hard time with, besides people who think it was just some sort bad day, is that they guy had a complete lack of knowledge of what was going on around him. He is paid $4 million a year, and you people act like he is some volunteer worker who is allowed to phuck up 2 to 3 games a season becausse he is such a great guy. I dont doubt he is a great guy, but he is a great guy that struggles on game day. We have the Dale Brown of football

For the record, which Ole Miss game is yesterday's news? The 2008 loss or the 2009 loss?

+1

winning cures all...beating Arky would put a temporary band aid on Miles, although Crowton's future is likely sealed.

lose to Arky in an ugly way and
"you ain't seen nothing yet"

Les isn't going anywhere anytime soon. That's a fact. And if he did, we could do worse. Note Notre Dame's dilemma after hiring what was considered to be one of the best coaches available.

At this point, the more LSU fans tear down LM, the more the LSU program is torn down. If you can't see that, get new glasses. And tearing him down may get him replaced in 4-5 years, but it will make for pure misery.

Was the Alamo the end of the Texas War for Independence? Was the Maine the end of America's hopes in the Spanish American War? No, I say, "Remember the Meltdown in Mississippi".
