chances we keep davis?

just wondering because of all this BS going on with our coaches and offense. would love to keep him. he should get a big boost in the rankings with the insane numbers he is putting up.

anywhere from 0-100%, just joking, I really don't know either, but he will probaly be our only 5 star.

70 % - 80%, the only school with a reasonable chance is UT but only if they don't get white. the BS with our coaches is a wash with the positive aspect of not getting reed (no overload at wr).

i agree. Davis could be the number three in the spring and number 2 after next year. I find it hard for a guy like him to pass this up.

80% sounds fair.

The numbers he is putting up in the highest level of football should warrant it.
He had four touchdowns (74, 71, 57 & 37yards)and two interceptions against one of top ten 5A teams in Texas this past weekend.

I don't know if this is what the OP was referring to, but I think he's a 5 star on scout already.
I don't think that he will pick up his fifth star on Rivals, just because it's too late and he's too low, but it's ridiculous that the Texas 5A offensive MVP as a junior with the kind of numbers he is putting up as a senior does not get his fifth star.

If white goes to texas, I agree davis sticks with us. But even if white doesn't pick texas, I still feel good about davis not switching. One of the main orangebloods.com guys is on espn radio here in austin every day. When he talks about ut wr chances, he doesn't even mention davis as a possible commit.
He stopped talking about seastrunck a loooong time ago, too, so I think that's a good sign.

Mike Davis is in the playoffs that's why this thing isn't a done deal but I'd expect Texas to take both if they wanted to come to Austin. We should have been offered Davis but we had Apo higher on the boards. So if we got both that would give us White,DavisJ.Harris, and C.Jones. Cobbs would play safety and Terrell would move to TE.

Apo is going to be a serious threat when he can get a guy to throw him the ball. People knock him because he plays at a private school where the competition isn't that good but they fail to realize that he started as a freshman at Euless Trinity(5A Powerhouse)before he transferred. He's a morman so BYU and immediate playing time was hard to pass.

they're (BYU) really starting to use that to their advantage nowadays. I guess with the religion spreading it's really helped their cause. All those guys that did their missions 20 years ago are the reason they keep pulling players from Hawaii and Samoa

Yea and they have 2 other guys that committed to them on his team. I wasn't shocked when he made the switch at all.
