Needs to go to miles and tell him he is to let his coaches coach! Become the face of LSU football...recruit and administer...but let your coaches coach!

pretty sure he does... which leads to 48 passes and 3 runs a game.

And hire a head coach in waiting. Give the HCIW control over practices and games.

Make it LM's job to walk around on the sidelines looking lost. i.e. Status quo

Oh, and make sure LM's head phone is a fake.

What is your evidence that he doesn't let his coaches coach?

I'm not saying that I support Miles, because I don't. But I disagree with you here.

I think the problem is that Miles has his coaches on too long of a leash and isn't involved enough. To support my claim I'll point to comments by Miles like:

"I thought I heard a timeout called"
"I don't know who ordered the spike"
"We'd like to get the ball to Shepard"
etc.

This doesn't sound like comments from a man who is in total control of his team or micromanaging. It sounds like someone who is letting his assistants run "willy nilly".

Having said that, it doesn't matter. They all suck.

OP, no one knows whether Les Miles tries to take control from his coaches, or whether his coaches frick up. I think Les is too stupid to be able to call plays seeing as how he can't even read a digital clock, so I'm sure the horrid offensive play calling is on Crowton.

Fair enough, yet you haven't offered any supporting evidence to support your theory that Les isn't letting his coaches coach.

bottom line is Miles is responsible for what happens. There was utter chaos on the sideline, just like last year. Miles had his chance last year and let the fans wallow if filth with that co-coordinator. He thought he was smarter than everyone so he had his free pass. You cannot reward incompetence. Again, we never even looked for a real coach when we hired this arse clown. Typical Louisiana laziness.

No, he needs to convince LM to leave and get about the business of building the future of LSU football. The program has lost the "pop" it's enjoyed 2003. The longer he waits, the harder he makes it on himself, imv.
